Marketplace Overview

BookSwap Bazaar is a locally-based, user-driven platform for buying and selling pre-owned books.

All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers, including communication and delivery coordination.
2. 
Payments & Checkout

Cash on Delivery (COD) is the only accepted payment method at this time.

Buyers are responsible for bringing exact change during meetups.
-
No digital or online payments are supported through the platform currently.
3. 
Shipping & Delivery

Delivery is not managed by BookSwap Bazaar.

Buyers and sellers are expected to coordinate directly to arrange meetups or delivery.

The platform is not responsible for late arrivals, delivery issues, or meetup disputes.
4. 
Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers must inspect the book before paying at the meetup.

If the book is not as described, the buyer may cancel the order on the spot.

Tracking and order status updates are only available to users with an account.
-
Guest checkout users will not have access to cancellation or tracking tools after checkout.
5. 
Seller Responsibilities

Sellers must provide honest and clear listings, including actual photos and accurate condition descriptions.

Sellers must respect cancellation decisions if the buyer finds the book unacceptable upon inspection.

All communication and meetups should be handled respectfully and safely.
6. 
Prohibited Activities
You may not use the platform to:

Sell prohibited or illegal items.

Misrepresent book condition or ownership.

Harass or scam other users.

Circumvent the platform for off-site payments or sales that violate our intent.
7. 
User Accounts

Users are encouraged to create an account for access to features like order tracking, confirmations, and cancellations.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Liability Disclaimer

BookSwap Bazaar acts as a listing and coordination platform only.

We are not liable for any loss, theft, miscommunication, or failed transactions between users.

Use of the platform is at your own risk.
